Installation Access
*ALL RUNNERS AND ALL PASSENGERS (18YRS AND OVER) NEEDING A BASE PASS must complete the instructions below AFTER race registration has been completed.
Due to our race being held aboard an active Marine Corps installation, unless you are riding in the same vehicle with a driver who has a valid DoD ID with base access, all runners and spectators who do not currently possess a valid DoD ID with credentialed base access will need to obtain an Event Base Access Pass. We have worked with our Provost Marshall's Office to make this process as easy as possible.
- Register for a base pass at https://www1.mcieast.usmc.mil/IARA/
- Locate the event and select "Request Sponsor".
- Agree to the Privacy Act Statement.
- Select the Visitor Type drop down menu and choose either driver or passenger. A registration form must be completed for all drivers and passengers.
- Complete the registration. Please have the following information available:
a. Drivers: Social Security number, DOB, email, phone number, driver's license, auto insurance policy, and auto information.
b. Passengers: Social Security number, DOB, government ID, email, and phone number.
Deadline to submit information is 30 days prior to the event date. No additional event passes will be issued past this date. Once approved, your pass(es) will be available for pick up at the Visitor's Gate the morning of the race. The pass is only good for the day of the event. Registered runners will receive more information on how to receive their pass(es) the week prior to the race.
Effective immediately, all visitors with non-REAL ID driver’s license and State issued identification cards requesting access to MCIEAST-MCB Camp Lejeune or MCAS New River must provide an approved identity source document or combination thereof to access the installation(s).
An example of identity source documentation includes a U.S. passport, or the combination of an original or certified true copy of a birth certificate bearing a raised seal, social security card, and non-REAL ID compliant driver’s license or State issued identification card – all three documents must bear the same name.
For questions on the REAL ID, contact Base Security at 910-450-0282.
