Volunteer Opportunity: Yuma Salutes America's 250
Join us for an unforgettable community celebration honoring 250 years of American independence! This historic event will be packed with high-energy live music, local food trucks, unique vendors, and a spectacular patriotic drone light show. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us bring this landmark celebration to life and ensure a seamless experience for all our guests.
ROLESVolunteers will be assigned to one of the following areas upon check-in based on event needs, including but not limited to:
- Merchandise Tent: Help guests with their patriotic gear by sorting and fulfilling apparel and souvenir orders. (no cash handling)
- VIP Area: Provide high-level service by checking lanyards, distributing merchandise, and answering questions.
- Event Greeters: Act as the face of the event by directing ticket holders and ensuring everyone is aware of the clear bag policy.
- Rovers: Stay mobile by providing floating coverage and supporting the Communications Team as needed.
SHIFTS / VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
2pm - 6pm: 15 spots
3pm - 8pm: 20 spots
7pm - 12am: 15 spots
- event shirt (to be worn during your shift)
- parking pass
- snacks and water
- Certificate of Appreciation (available as needed)
- one complimentary concert ticket
- Uniform: You must wear the provided event shirt at all times during your shift.
- Attire: Comfortable and appropriate pants or shorts.
- Footwear: Comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes (highly recommended).
- Sun Protection: Please bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and chapstick.
