Marine Corps Half Marathon

Wallace Creek Fitness Center and Road Closures on September 13
In support of the half marathon, Wallace Creek Fitness Center will have a delayed opening at 2PM on September 13. Additionally, patrons will experience road closures during the race:
- Outbound lanes on Wilson Blvd. from the Wallace Creek exit to Brewster St. exit will be closed from 6:30 - 9AM
- Birch St. from Parachute Tower Rd to McHugh Blvd. will be closed from 5AM - Noon
Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time and use alternate routes during this time. For convenience, you can view the course map.

Experience the storied legacy of the Marine Corps at the Marine Corps Half Marathon presented by FirstLight Home Care and Capital Automotive Group. The flat and picturesque course rewards runners with views of the New River, Morgan Bay, and Farnell Bay. Participants will run alongside the Paradise Point Golf Course, where the Heroes Mile pays homage to fallen service members.
This year's race is a landmark commemoration of the Marine Corps' 250-year legacy, honoring the unwavering traditions of excellence and sacrifice that have distinguished the Corps since its founding in 1775. Don't miss out on this opportunity to honor tradition while embracing the natural beauty of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
This race is open to the public.
Registration
THE RACE HAS SOLD OUT. THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
• Must be 14yrs+ to register.
• All runners must complete the race within 3.75 hours.
• This course is not a USATF certified course.
• Only registered runners are allowed on the course.
• No pets allowed on the course.
ALL FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE A FINISHER MEDAL
• Overall Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
• Overall Masters Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers ages 40 and up.
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age bracket below:
(14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+)
Note: Overall winners will receive an Overall plaque award and Overall placement medal.
Overall award winners are not eligible to also place in their age category.
