Paradise Point Golf Course, Pro Shop, and Duffers Retreat Reduced Hours
Due to staffing shortages and the recent hiring freeze, the Paradise Point Golf Course will be operating under reduced hours effective Mar. 17, 2025:
Golf Course
Monday and Tuesday – CLOSED
Driving range is open daily at daybreak and closed at nightfall, patrons can use the cash machines at the driving range.
Pro Shop
Monday and Tuesday – CLOSED
Wednesday and Thursday – 7:45AM-6PM | First tee time at 8AM | Equipment returned by 7PM
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Holidays – 6:45AM-7PM | First tee time at 7AM | Equipment returned by 7PM
Duffers Retreat
Monday and Tuesday – CLOSED
Wednesday and Thursday – 6:30AM-2PM
Friday, Saturday Sunday Holidays – 6:30AM-2PM

All players must show proof of a golf handicap 24 or less (except during winter hours, when this is waived) to have golf privileges on the Gold Course. For questions on how to register for a USGA Handicap, please contact the golf course. Golfers who have established a handicap in the Paradise Point Golf Course system will be permitted to participate in any Paradise Point Golf Course tournament that is open to patrons.
- Children 5 years old and younger are not permitted on the courses or golf carts.
- Glass bottles are prohibited on the Gold and Scarlet Courses.
- Tee times may be made manually (i.e., over the telephone or in person) 7 days in advance.
Paradise Point Golf Course is open to the general public. All visitors without installation access must be sponsored by an Active Duty/Retired Military or Civilian DoD ID Cardholders. Visit https://www.lejeune.marines.mil/Base-Access/ for more information. Purchases in the Pro Shop for “convenience merchandise incidental to daily participation,” is permitted.
About
Paradise Point Golf Course was designed by George Cobb, a world renowned golf architect and former Marine. Paradise Point Golf Course has two golf courses, the Scarlet and the Gold. The Scarlet is an 18 hole course with par of 70. The Gold is an 18 hole course with par of 72. Also available are two driving ranges, one green grass and the other covered with 20 bays. There are three putting greens and a practice field on the premises.
Golf Lessons with our PGA Instructor
Private lessons are available for all skill levels, from the beginner who wants to learn the basics of golf to the good player who wants to hone his or her skills. Lessons are given by a PGA Professional.
